Pirobloc: Thermal Electric Fluid Heaters

16:57 12 January in Uncategorized

Pirobloc’s electric thermal boilers use electrical resistances of very low density (in order to avoid the degradation of the thermal fluid) and relays of solid state for the regulation adapted of the power.

electrical heater

We make this equipment for general applications as indirect heating. The difference between conventional gas or diesel heaters are :

– no combustion
– no smokes
– no emissions
– 100% efficiency

As attached file you will find also the general data sheet. We design and manufacture according the needs of the customers or applications so we can customize everything. hosting information

Lately we are also active in solar technology selling this heaters to research centers, universities and small engineering companies.

Another New Year ! Another New Product from Kimray !

New Product Information:
2″ and 3” Piston Balanced Throttling
Mechanical Valves

Kimray has designed a mechanical valve specifically for erosive service. The Piston Balanced Throttling Mechanical Valve stands up to the demands of high-pressure drops in erosive service. This customer driven valve has been tested in the field and is proven to last four times longer.

Target Customers: Wet gas producers with high sand content.

The Challenge
The soft seat in a standard mechanical valve remains in the path of the process fluid.

When erosive service is present with a high pressure drop, premature erosion to the seat area occurs – resulting in the valve not being able to shut tight against upstream pressure and costly replacement or repairs become necessary.

The Solution
Unlike the standard mechanical valve, the seat in the PBT lifts out of the flow, which eliminates wear on the soft seat, ratio plug and cage assembly.

Core Benefits:

• Larger orifice results in higher capacity flow. In the 2” valve, the CV value increased from 23.3 in the standard valve to 47 in the PBT. The 3” valve CV increased from 43.8 to 89 on the PBT
• Piston assembly rises up out of the flow path, protecting the soft seat and ratio plug from erosion
• Cage assembly does not extend into flowpath, avoiding erosion
• Hard Seat is replaceable
• Screwed body allows up to 500 psi of high pressure

Applications:

• 2 and 3 phase separators
• Free-water knockouts

Stafford, Texas – October 30, 2014

A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was recently held for their brand new 3,200 square foot Flame Control Laboratory along with enhancements to their Flow Laboratory at their Stafford, Texas manufacturing facility.

Groth Corporation is a global leader in manufacturing pressure/vacuum relief valves, flame and detonation arresters, blanket gas regulators and other low pressure relief products.

In addition to Groth Corporation staff and sales representatives from around the world, also in attendance at the Ribbon Cutting was Stafford Mayor Scarcella along with several Stafford City Councilmembers.

The laboratories will allow for enhanced capabilities to meet ever changing requirements of pressure relief & flame control solutions throughout all process industries, spanning the globe.

Enhancements to the Groth Flow Lab makes it one of the most modern low pressure, high volume flow labs in the United States. It meets ASME PTC-25 requirements and is TUV certified. It can flow air at 600,000 standard cubic feet per hour in both pressure and vacuum and can reach pressures up to 5 PSI.

The new Groth Flame Control Lab is designed to perform deflagration and burn tests per the European ATEX, Factory Mutual, and US Coast Guard test standards. The lab has the capability to test with various gases, including Methane, Propane, Ethylene and others.

“The new laboratories will elevate our strategic new product development efforts and continue to provide support to our current product lines.” – Steven Breid, Vice President of Sales & Marketing

One of the biggest and most comprehensive Oil and Gas exhibitions in Asia is back in Singapore.

And, as always, PNR Engineering Systems is going to be there from 2 – 5 December 2014.

If you’re around, head on down to see PNR at Marina Bay Sands. Our booth, BE3-01 (Singapore Pavilion) at Hall D, is open to all.

Come learn more about our new technologies, check out our tried and trusted ones , or simply come down and say, “hi”. We look forward to seeing all of you there.

14,000 km of gas pipelines. 1 quick solution to test their integrity.

18:25 29 September in Uncategorized

APA Pipes As Australia’s largest transporter of natural gas, the APA Group own more than 14,000 km of gas pipeline. So when they needed someone to test the integrity of their pipe spares there was only going to be one easy solution.

Expansion Seal Technologies’ Griptight Test Plugs.

Using EST’s Griptights, Imatech successfully tested more than 60 pipes of various lengths and sizes at high water pressures – up to 13,900PSI (960 Bar) to be exact. Our plugs are specially designed to use the test pressure to grip and seal the pipe securely. So the higher the test pressure, the tighter our plugs will hold on to the wall of the pipe. As a result, APA saved many man hours due to the fact that Griptights do not require welding on end caps or blinds. Installation is as simple as “plug and torque”.

For more information on how you can use EST’s Griptights for your pipe integrity testing needs please contact us at sales@estgroupasia.com.sg or call +65 6745 8560

High Pressure Pneumatic and Hydrostatic Test Demonstration in one of the world largest Fabrication Yard

07:15 28 May in Uncategorized

EST and PNR Engineering Group have just recently conducted a successful demonstration of high pressure pipe testing method using EST I.D. Griptight GT4-P120  and O.D. Griptight ODGT-400P. For this demonstration a sample pipe of Sch120 was tested up to 2000 psi hydraulically and 1400 psi pnuematically. These plugs are specially engineered and designed to use the test pressure to grip and seal the pipe securely. The higher the test pressure, the tighter these plugs will hold on to the wall of the pipe.

highpressure

This safe method of pipe testing has been used by many international companies. Tremendous manpower time are reduced compared to the conventional method of using end cap and flange & blinds.

GripTight Plugs operating pressure can go up to  13900 PSI(960 Bar) and O.D GripTight up to 5000PSI(343Bar)
